Moore Madness

Today was a grand day (see the video) of presenting the 2008 Moore Cup winner with the trophy.  The 2007 winner presented the 2008 wiener with the trophy:

Dwayne has truly lost sight of the purpose of this website.

For the safety of the entire family, he should immediately be voted off the island. We have always known he was at least a little off kilter, however, he is now completely off his rocker.

I hereby officially demand a re-count. Dwayne has proven himself to be faithful on all accounts.  I, on the other hand, will swindle my way out of or into anything.  I believe that Dwayne Sr. should have won and I should have been in last place, based on my pithy research methods.

UPDATE: Emily!  When will you ever learn????

Becca has emailed the final standings to me this morning. We can now, officially, declare Jennifer the wiener winner. Oh yeah! Well, at least Emily didn’t win. That is all I really care about. Of course, she was asking for me to bow down to her in the last post - what was up with that?

I am actually very glad to see that Emily made it above me in the rankings. That warms my heart after such a sad display from a few days ago….

UPDATE: This is Jennifer’s second MooreMadness Cup.  Her last win [or the last time she was a wiener - did she ever really stop?] came 10 years ago in the first official MooreMadness competition.  Way to go Jenny!!

I vote that I have to bow down before Dwayne whether he wins or loses. After all, I am a mere peasant before him.

It seems that MooreMadness has been a bit quiet this year. Where is the trash talk that I have grown to love? Are we going to need to make this more interesting? Do we need to institute some type of bracket wager similar to that of Mike and Mike in the Morning? If so, I vote that if Emily loses, she has bow down (physically) before the winner each time she sees said winner and say “I bow low before a true champion!” for an entire year.
