As was announced last year, there will be the Moore Madness Junior Division, so all kids (kindergarten through 6th grade 8th grade - we want Emily to be happy!!) can compete against one another this year. Be sure to fill out your brackets! Also, brackets will come out tonight so check back here for a link to a bracket you can download, print, fill out, and return.
The Madness has begun…
UPDATE: Consider this a public retraction for the grievance that I have assaulted against Emily. I have a typo above. As I stated last year, the Junior Division would include those competitors from Kindergarten through 8th grade. I inadvertently typed “6th grade” in the original post and am deeply sorry for any offense that this may have hurled upon the Moore Family. Thanks ~ DHE

Watch all of this year’s NCAA tournament online while you are way from your TV right on any computer with high-speed access. Just sign up for a free account here and you are on your way. Also notice, once you launch the player, the handy-little “boss button.” I am trying to change mine to say “warden button.” Go figure!

For those of you who are still unsure as to how this works, the winner will be announced after the game ends. Think on that!!

…..Way to Go Ernie!!! You have fought off the estrogen surge and won! Once again the more cup is full of testosterone…..
How can I declare a winner you say? I am glad you asked…..everyone in the Moore Family picked Florida to win. So, by sometime just before midnight tonight, we will have all lost or all won - meaning no one can “gain” any more games on another person in the bracket.
One more thing - hey Emily, you dropped your ice cream!!!

I received my ESPN the Magazine today in the mail. In the magazine, they covered each of the four teams that are in the final four. I thought you might like to read what they had to say. You may get the file here.
Enjoy!

Next year, in addition to the original and long standing Moore Cup, and in honor of the Moore Cup’s tenth anniversary, there will begin a new series. The Moore Cup Junior series. All Moore kids from Kindergarten through 8th grade are eligible to participate in the Moore Cup Junior series. So little boys and girls (Becca excluded) get ready for next year!

Georgetown’s win all but sealed victory for Ernie - start engraving the cup. Emily - it may be staying in Tennessee - but it is not touched by your hands. Once again testosterone wins!!! Go Ernie Go!

Blah, blah, blah, blah. He’s just jealous of my inspired picks. And he’s upset because Mimi asked for the trophy back. HAHAHA. It didn’t like Louisville anyways. It will LOVE LaVergne! I can’t wait to see my name engraved AGAIN!!!
BTW, Dwayne, just because you have refused to post my “rantings” as you call them, your name will magically disappear, with a little help from an ice pick (Mom, can I borrow one?), from the coveted cup while in my possession.
Emily, Esq.
Update:
For the record, Emily’s own mother said, “Emily, I would never willingly give you an ice pick.”

It has been a semi-quiet week for the MooreMadness blog. Aside from “Dr. Emily” and my refusing to post her “rantings” - it has been real quiet. No one has really voiced their opinion concerning Emily, except for her father who had these simple words to her, “Good for you!” Oh well - sorry Emily, I guess your constituency has spoken - or not, really!
Many of you may already know this and I would not encourage you do to anything that may get you in trouble in your work places, but this is worth checking out. You can watch the games from your computer. This means that while Jennifer is saying, “turn of the TV, I’m tired,” I can watch the games on my computer and not bother her!
Also, I will be posting the games for tonight as well as the latest standings today. Sorry for my delay in getting these to you…I have been preparing for a slander trial that was threatened, as well as checking the legal ramifications of a cease and desist letter.

Counter? What? If there is a counter, shouldn’t there first be an offer? Why yes. You are correct! But, humor me for a moment while I explain the “counter” to the offer. Emily (or Dr. Emily as she is calling herself these days) has sent everyone an email, the contents of which I will NOT post here because they contain the terms of said offer. Everyone has read it - no one really cares. Emily only cries about her ice cream being spilt, Remember this, and this?
So here is the deal. Emily has offered terms that we agree are not mentioned on this site, up to this point in time. Reason? While she may have figured out HOW to write a blog post, she CANNOT POST a blog post because she is not the admin of the site…..I am (yeah me!). The deal is this….out of kindness, I will post Emily’s rantings so that we may all laugh and in turn, she has to be quiet for the rest of the tournament. After the last game, she can have a total of 20 minutes to gloat, jump, etc. when all the family is gathered at some point after the last game?
What say ye? Personally - I like my option better - there is still a few more weeks of madness in which we would have to put up with “Dr.” Emily.
